Metricool

Metricool review

Metricool brings social media scheduling and performance reporting together. You can plan posts, see which content gets a response and turn the results into reports for other people. Competitor tracking and separate spaces for each brand make it useful beyond keeping the calendar full.

Turn results into useful reports

Metricool lets you review your connected accounts alongside competitor profiles. This helps you compare posting activity and visible results without treating every change in your own numbers as an isolated event.

Paid plans include separate PDF and PowerPoint reports for each brand. You can share the results with a client or colleague instead of collecting screenshots from several apps. Advanced adds customisable report templates and a Looker Studio connection when standard exports are not enough.

Plan the next posts in the same place

The planner sits alongside the analytics, so you can move from reviewing a successful post to scheduling what comes next. A shared view of upcoming content is useful for spotting gaps or making sure an announcement is ready across your accounts.

Metricool also includes an inbox for supported comments and messages. Availability differs by network; it does not mean every kind of conversation can be handled outside the original app.

Keep each brand separate

A brand groups a business's connected profiles and its results. You can switch between brands without mixing their schedules or reports. Each brand allows one profile per supported network: two Facebook pages or two Google Business locations require two brands, even if the same company owns them.

That makes Metricool's bundles worth considering when you manage several businesses. Advanced adds team roles, client access and approval tools so other people can contribute without giving everyone the same control.

Metricool pricing: free and paid plans

Other tools to consider

Buffer offers a refillable free posting queue and charges paid subscriptions by connected account. Planable is worth comparing when reviewing drafts is the main problem. Agorapulse combines publishing with a more detailed set of tools for managing social conversations.

Our verdict

Metricool makes it easier to publish regularly and give other people a clear report of the results. Its strongest reasons to pay are shareable reports, competitor comparisons and a separate view of each brand. If those are part of your regular work, it can replace much of the copying between calendars, social apps and presentation files.
