Post Planner

Post Planner review

Post Planner combines finding content with organising and scheduling social posts. Alongside material you create yourself, it helps you discover articles, videos and other ideas that can give the calendar more variety.

More ideas for the calendar

Content discovery is an important part of Post Planner's appeal. Sources include articles, videos, RSS feeds and stock media, giving you places to look when the next post is not obvious. You can use those ideas to start your own commentary or share a relevant source, rather than copying another account's work.

Categories and recycling help organise material worth using again. That is useful for evergreen posts that still have something to offer after their first appearance.

The scheduling calendar then brings the chosen content into a publishing routine. Combining discovery and scheduling reduces the gap between finding something useful and deciding when it belongs on your accounts.

Post Planner pricing

The free plan includes one social account, one user and ten scheduled posts, with a daily limit of three posts per profile.

Starter costs $14 a month, or $108 billed yearly, equivalent to $9 a month. It includes three accounts, one user and 150 scheduled posts, with a daily limit of 12 per profile.

Growth costs $59 a month, or $468 billed yearly, with 15 accounts, two users and 1,500 scheduled posts. Larger plans increase account, user and publishing capacity. A seven-day trial is available; without a paid upgrade, the account moves to Free.

Before you choose

Distinguish the scheduled-post allowance from the daily publishing limit. Also remember that a piece of content performing well elsewhere is not proof that it will suit your audience. Discovery provides options; your selection and commentary give them relevance.

Our view

Post Planner is appealing when finding worthwhile material takes as much effort as scheduling it. Discovery, categories and recycling give you more to work with than an empty calendar, while the free and Starter plans provide accessible ways to begin.
