Plan the look as well as the date
A visual calendar is useful when several posts need to work together. PLANOLY's grid planning lets you see the balance of images before you publish, while drag-and-drop scheduling makes it easier to change the order without rebuilding your plan.
The media library also gives unused material somewhere to live. You can prepare captions and posts in advance, rather than searching through your phone whenever you need something to publish. Its wider scheduling support means Instagram planning need not sit in a completely separate tool from your other social accounts.
Some posts can publish automatically; others use a reminder so you can finish them in the network's own app. That distinction matters when a post depends on native music or editing features.
PLANOLY pricing
Starter costs $16 a month, or the equivalent of $14 a month billed annually. It includes one social set, one user and unlimited uploads. Growth is $28 monthly, or $24 a month on annual billing, with two sets and two users. Pro is $55 monthly, or $47 a month on annual billing, with six sets and six users.
A social set groups accounts across supported networks; it is not an allowance for unlimited brands. Growth and Pro offer additional sets and users for separate fees. Paid plans have a 14-day trial. The mobile free option has a ten-upload monthly allowance, rather than the full paid web experience.
Before you choose
Check whether your regular post formats use automatic publishing or reminders. A well-organised calendar is still helpful either way, but a reminder requires someone to finish the post.
Count separate brands and staff logins before choosing a plan. For example, a second brand's Instagram account is not simply another network in the first brand's set.
Our view
PLANOLY gives visual content more room than a basic list of scheduled posts. The grid, media library and calendar help you see both what you are saying and how it will look. That makes its trial worth exploring if you want a more coherent social presence without planning every post from scratch.
