Meltwater Engage
Meltwater Engage review
Meltwater Engage brings social publishing and customer conversations together with performance reporting. It connects the content you plan to share with the replies and results that follow.
Plan, reply and measure
Engage's publishing tools organise upcoming social content and support the work around preparing it. A shared plan gives colleagues a clearer view of what is due, rather than leaving the schedule in individual accounts.
The Conversations tools address the other side of social activity. Labels, saved responses and collaborative handling help a team organise incoming messages and avoid recreating common replies each time.
Measure brings reporting into the same module. That is useful when the people managing social accounts need to report on the work as well as carry it out. Publishing and conversation handling can then be considered together, rather than as unrelated tasks in separate tools.
Meltwater Engage pricing
There is no fixed public subscription price to use as a reliable starting quote. Ask Meltwater to specify the Engage capabilities, connected accounts, team access, reports and support included in its proposal.
Meltwater offers several products. A package focused on media monitoring or intelligence should not be assumed to include the owned-social publishing and conversation tools described here.
Before you choose
Use a demonstration to confirm the exact networks and message types the proposed package handles. A shared conversation tool needs to cover the channels your customers actually use.
Make sure the proposal names the capabilities you require, not just the wider Meltwater platform. That is especially important if you are comparing an existing Meltwater contract with adding a separate social management service.
Our view
Engage is worth discussing when you want publishing, responses and reporting to work together within Meltwater. Its appeal is the joined-up daily work: plan the content, deal with the reaction and show the results. For a smaller requirement limited to scheduling a few accounts, a self-service product may be a simpler purchase.
