Taskworld Review: Project Views, Plans and Pricing

Taskworld brings shared project tasks, visual schedules, comments and custom fields into one place. Teams can organize assignments, show how tasks depend on each other and reuse a project structure when similar work comes around again. It is worth considering for general coordination when a task list needs both discussion and a view of the schedule.

Business combines these tools with calendar and Gantt views, automation and guest collaboration. Take a representative project to Taskworld to explore how its task and schedule views fit your work.

Organize assignments and reuse a process

Taskworld can hold the tasks and comments behind a project, with configurable fields capturing the information your team needs to track. Visual schedules provide another way to look at the same work: a deadline has more context when the preceding tasks are visible.

Saved templates are useful for recurring processes. You can retain selected project elements, then create a new project with its members and privacy settings. For example, a team running repeated internal launches could reuse the outline and assign the new work without rebuilding the entire structure.

Templates omit actual progress, activity logs and due dates. Think of them as a reusable starting structure, with a fresh schedule to set, rather than a copy of a finished project's history. That distinction helps keep old dates and apparent progress out of a new initiative.

Where the dependency model fits

Tasks can have multiple previous and next tasks within one project. That supports a sequence in which several pieces of work need to finish before another begins.

Dependencies do not cover subtasks or tasks existing in multiple projects. A team whose schedule depends on those structures should test an actual example before choosing Taskworld. Generic dependency support does not establish cross-project scheduling. See the official dependency guidance for the scope.

Taskworld pricing: Business, Enterprise and the trial

Taskworld offers a 14-day trial, Business and Enterprise. Business lists unlimited active projects, 30 guests, 1TB storage, Gantt and calendar views, dependencies, custom fields and automation. Enterprise adds options including SAML, VPC or on-premise deployment and custom onboarding.

Visit the Taskworld pricing page for up-to-date pricing. Request a quote for your team size, billing commitment and required deployment option; include Business guest access or Enterprise onboarding where needed.

Treat the trial as a 14-day evaluation rather than permanent free access. Confirm any existing Free or Premium entitlement with the provider before relying on it.

Business's 30-guest allowance is useful to include in a collaboration discussion. Bring the number of internal users and external participants, and specify what the latter must be able to do. Enterprise deployment and onboarding should also be part of the quote rather than assumed from the standard cloud plan.

If switching, keep the meaning of existing work

CSV import maps projects, task lists, tasks, dates, assignee and follower emails, and linked subtasks. Emails must match workspace accounts, and imported projects default to private. This gives you a route for bringing existing task data into Taskworld, with a permissions check before sharing it.

After import, inspect completion and status as well as names and dates. Completion-date text does not automatically complete a task, and status cannot be modified through the import. A useful pilot is one project containing both completed and open work so that the resulting state can be compared with the original.

Notes provide space for reference material and meeting information. Converting a task into a note is a consequential change: it loses due dates, tracked time and checklists, and its subtasks detach as standalone tasks. Keep actionable work as tasks when those records still matter.

Integrations and support

Business lists Slack, Microsoft Teams, Zapier and GitHub connections. Those names establish available integration options, but not the exact actions, synchronization directions or collaborator permissions your workflow needs. During evaluation, check one concrete action, such as capturing a request or passing a project update, with the relevant account permissions.

Business lists chat, email and phone support; Enterprise adds custom onboarding. Confirm contractual response terms and setup assistance with the provider. If phone access or assisted rollout is central to the purchase, request the applicable service scope with the quote.

Alternatives to consider

Asana is worth comparing when connecting individual assignments with shared project progress is the priority. My Tasks and Inbox bring a person's work and updates together; Advanced adds portfolios and native time tracking.

ClickUp offers a broader tasks, Docs, chat and time-recording workspace. It deserves a look when consolidating those activities is part of the benefit you want, alongside configurable project structures.

You can also compare the wider project management category to start from the type of work your team needs to coordinate.

Verdict

Taskworld merits a trial for teams that want assignments, comments, visual schedules and reusable project structures together. Business provides a broad documented capability set; Enterprise extends the deployment and onboarding choices.

Use a real project with dependencies, a guest and a small import to see whether the workflow fits, then obtain the applicable subscription and service quote.
