Vagaro
Vagaro review
Vagaro is designed for businesses where appointments are part of running a beauty, wellness or fitness business. Its value is the connection between client booking, staff schedules, payments and the wider tools used by a salon, studio or wellness business. The provider also offers customer discovery, marketing, forms, memberships and optional business tools, so compare the whole product rather than treating it as a simple calendar swap.
Visit Vagaro when you need salon, wellness or fitness tools as well as an online calendar.
What Vagaro does well
Vagaro is worth evaluating when staff need one view of appointments and clients, customers expect to book or buy from a branded page, and the business would actually use specialist functions beyond reminders. It can suit a growing salon or wellness team that would otherwise stitch together booking, payments, forms, marketing and memberships.
The strongest case is breadth. A buyer can set up services, staff, resources and repeat clients without forcing salon work into a meeting scheduler. Marketplace visibility can also be useful when discovery is a real source of new clients rather than a cosmetic extra.
Pricing and purchase checks
Treat the official monthly subscription as only the starting point. Staff configuration, payment processing, text or marketing usage, hardware and optional business modules can change the total. Use Vagaro's current US pricing configurator for the exact team and feature set; save the quote and verify renewal, cancellation and data-export terms before migrating.
Rebuild a real appointment from discovery to checkout. Test a deposit, cancellation, recurring visit, form, staff change and client message, then compare the result with Fresha and GlossGenius. A consultant or ordinary service business may find the specialist scope unnecessary, while a class-heavy studio should also compare Mindbody.
