The best scheduling software for personal trainers

Personal trainers need clients to book the right session, receive reminders and use package credits without creating a second set of admin. A solo trainer may be well served by a focused appointment tool; a gym or coaching business may need programs, memberships and progress tracking too.

Appointment booking or coaching software?

Pick an appointment product when the main problem is availability, reminders, cancellations and payment. Look at a fitness or coaching platform when the business also needs training plans, exercise delivery, assessments, habit tracking, member access or detailed progress records. Buying both by accident adds cost and duplicate client data.

Test payments, packages and cancellations

Create a consultation, a recurring one-to-one session and a small group session. Sell a package, use one credit, move an appointment, apply the cancellation rule and test a failed payment. If another trainer covers the session, make sure the client message and commission or reporting remain correct.

Compare the current price for every trainer, location, message allowance and payment method, because packages and plan limits can change.

Compare personal trainer scheduling software with real sessions before choosing. Start with Setmore for simple booking, Square Appointments for sessions with integrated payment or the main scheduling guide for more options.
